you look alot better m8. Unfortunately in america now it’s impossible to get Armor for whatever amount of time. There are various reasons, alot having to do with the FDA being nazi’s
so what it works -it is made from the pig thyroid gland not the guts I wouldn’t care if it was the pigs guts it works for people with no thyroid so if it is me or the pig than it is me -I have to have a supplement or I will die and the synthetic drugs like syntroid are horrible they are the ones that should be taken off the market.
I had my thyroid removed 5 yrs ago the synthetic drugs like syntroid made my hair come out and I felt tired all the time-armor saved my quality of life-but now armor can not be found -I really dread that I am going to have to take syntroid again.
The hyper symptoms I’ve had were migraine, chest pains, and diahrrea. Usually when you reach that dosage that makes you hyperthyroid, then the doc has to back you down to the previous dosage. It sounds like you’re having thyroid hormone resistance, or you just need a high dosage. You might want to be checked for celiac disease, as I’ve heard this affects thyroid in some thyroid patients. you would go to an allergist for that.
i don’t seem to go hyper no matter what dose im on! im off to hospital on tues to see if i’ve got pituitary probs.. no thyroid meds work for me at all. bluebellx
They use an ultrasound to locate the nodule or area of concern, then use a needle to draw out cells, like a blood draw. They don’t do a biopsy unless they are able to locate the nodule, because it wouldn’t be necessary. You lay on a table and they use the ultrasound wand to find the nodule, and then they use the needle.
The biopsy is ordered when the endo finds a nodule or notices something abnormal. They check for cancerous or precancerous cells in the biopsy. If you have precancerous cells, they’ll probably schedule you a radioactive iodine treatment. If it’s cancerous, they’ll probably give you the option of removing the thyroid, which from what I’ve read it the best option.
Yeah. once you find the right dosage and don’t have overactive symptoms you can go to your primary doctor for refills. You should get a thyroid exam by a endo though, about once a year, because they know what to feel and listen for.

armour already has t3 in it, so be careful of overactive symptoms.
