Q&A: I just had my thyroid removed, is it okay to take Nicorette with a synthetic thyroid medication?

I just had my thyroid removed, is it okay to take Nicorette with a synthetic thyroid medication?
Anybody know?
It says to not take it if you have a thyroid disease.. I had my thyroid out because it was enlarged, they biopsied it and it came back negative but they wanted to take it out and check inside. I’m waiting for the results, but I’ve also quit smoking and am taking Nicorette lozenges. Anybody know?

I have never heard of a problem with taking the two together.
